Description
In ‘Baby-led planning’ we’ll explore how you can transform planning in the baby room so that it starts with babies’ natural curiosity and develops through your creative responses to these interests. You will leave with an understanding of this approach and how to apply it in your particular baby room environment.
We will focus on:
- Babies’ unique personalities and interests
- Noticing what sparks a baby’s curiosity
- Responding to babies’ curiosity in the moment it arises
- Documenting sparks of curiosity, so that they become the basis for planning
- Developing on babies’ interests so that they become ‘living questions’ across the whole baby room
What you’ll get:
- Deeper knowledge and understanding of baby-led planning
- Opportunities to learn from other baby room educators and leaders
- A slide deck that you can use to cascade learning with your team
- A digital certificate of attendance and participation
